I’ve been with Comprehensive Women’s Care for a little over a year. Jennifer Cartmel has been my provider and I couldn’t love her more! Never have I felt more “heard” and cared for anywhere else! The practice goes out of the way to make me feel like a person or a friend, not a number! If you’re looking for the very best, I would recommend this practice without hesitation!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE Dr. Mini! I have been with her for 10 years now and she has been amazing! She did endometriosis surgery for me and delivered both my babies! She made me feel so comfortable during my deliveries and explained everything perfectly about my surgery.

Dr mini is a true life saver!
I made the drive 2 hours there and 2 back and she made it truly worth it. If it wasn’t for her I don’t know that I would be here today. I’ve never met a doctor who truly cared as much as she did.

I have been a patient of Dr. Mini for almost 8 years. Dr. Mini is absolutely fantastic, and I couldn't imagine having to go to another practice! Dealing with infertility, and finally having a viable pregnancy, I have seen nearly all of the doctors in this practice. I can honestly say that they ALL are amazing and care tremendously for their patients. I've never had a more caring office staff and doctors before in my life (Amy, Jamie, Abigail to name a few)!

Dr. Mini always takes the time to listen to your concerns and addresses them honestly and openly. I feel right at home and loved when I walk through the doors, you don't get that often from a doctor's office. I don't feel like "just another patient on the books" to quickly get through and onto the next.

I HIGHLY recommend Dr. Mini and any of the doctors at this facility for your OB needs!!!

Dr. Mini changed my life. I suffered from endometriosis symptoms for 6 long years because my general OBGYN insisted that my pain and heavy periods were symptoms of my weight, even after I insisted that I might have endometriosis. I finally found a Facebook group online that directed me to Dr. Mini, who listened well to me and immediately felt that I probably had endometriosis. We scheduled a surgery for a month out and it was phenomenal. She did such an amazing job. It was so minimally invasive and the pain pump I went home with truly made recovery a breeze. I barely even have scars from my procedure almost 3 years later. Another thing I barely have is endometriosis pain/symptoms! My excision surgery was such a success and my quality of life has improved so much. I am SO thankful for Dr. Mini and I am so glad that I found her. She changed my life and I know she has made such a huge difference for so many of the endo warriors that I know. I recommend her to everyone I know!!

Dr. Mini delivered my son fifteen years ago. Now, my adult daughter is her patient too. We couldn't ask for better, more professional care. Having multiple locations is fantastic, and makes it much easier to book an appointment, or prep for surgery. Looking for an OB/GYN? Need a second opinion? You can't do better.

Dr. Shivkamini Somasundaram better known as (Dr. Mini) is an excellent physcian. My husband and I went to her back in 2017. We told her our story about not being able to carry a child to term. At this point we had been to every fertility specialist in the State of Ohio and out of state as well. No one would help us after we told them that we had 15 miscarriages and not one child alive. I was 39 and my husband was 41 years old at the time. They would give us a blank stare and apologize for our losses but not offer any help. When we explained our situation to Dr. Mini, not only did she ask questions but she assured us that she would try everything there was possible for us to have at least one child. She told us that she would not make any promises that she couldn’t keep. She tested me for everything. She found out that I had more than 25 fibroids inside and outside of my uterus. She preformed a robotic assisted Myomectomy on me and removed all of the fibroids. After I recovered she put me on progesterone to be used everyday, she basically threw everything under the kitchen sink at me and she made sure I took everything that I was suppose to (sort of speak). At 40 years old, after several tries we found out we were pregnant. She even figured out that my cervix was insufficient. She suggested that I get a cerclage to hold the baby. She worked with the staff at Riverside Hospital and Maternial Fetal Medicine. Which MFM is good as well as the staff at Riverside Hospital.
Finally, at 41 years old and my husband 43 we just had our first child. Dr. Mini delivered her on February 8, 2019. We are so appreciative and blessed to experience this journey. Thanks to God and Dr. Mini we the happiest two people in the world right now. Don’t hesitate to contact Comprehensive Women’s Care. All of the doctors are good but we know that Dr. Mini is great! She cares about her patients and will go the distance to show you that she cares. Thanks Again, Dr. Mini.
